In the penultimate episode of "Desperate Housewives" eighth and final season, the ladies will make important decisions in their lives. As Julie doubts Porter's commitment to be a hands-on father to their unborn child, Susan says she will sell her house and help her daughter raise the baby.
Bree begins to fall for her attorney, Trip, while she continues to stand trial and take the fall for Carlos in the murder of Alejandro. As if it's not complicating enough, she is faced with the fact that the only way to secure her freedom is to unveil Gaby's secret. Gaby herself acts nonchalantly, leaving the other ladies shocked.
Meanwhile, Tom meets Lynette before he is transferred to India for his job and tells her that he's going to miss her. Partly blamed for the transfer, Lynette begins to have second thoughts and tries to convince his boss to rescind the move.
"The People Will Hear" will air Sunday, May 6 at 9/8c on ABC. A week later, the show will take a final bow with a two-hour episode.
As the series' end is looming, Teri Hatcher opened up about her feeling in facing the day. "We've had a lot of time to process it, so it's not a shock. But I think you just can't really know what it's going to feel like until it's over," she shared.
Teasing about the ending for the beloved characters, the Susan depicter claimed, "I feel like [the finale] does a pretty good job at honoring all the different characters and their sort of unique wheelhouses that they brought ... to Desperate Housewives. Whether it be comedy or drama or physical comedy, I feel like the stories make sense. I think it will be better than some other big finales."
